Miguel Vega

Miguel Vega is the 2024 Vice President of the Nashville Mortgage Bankers Association and is responsible for Revenue and Loan Origination at Nuestro Financial and Novus Home Mortgage for Tennessee and Kentucky. Miguel is a Marketing graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, and holds degrees and certifications in Business and Marketing Strategy from Cornell University in New York. In addition, Miguel studied Economics and International Trade from ITAM and ITESM in Mexico.

Miguel is a founding member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) in Louisville, KY; Minneapolis, MN; Knoxville, TN; and Nashville, TN. He is actively involved in the community, serving as a board director for financial programs at The Housing Fund of Tennessee and a board officer of the Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, he serves on the Tennessee Housing Development Agency Housing Industry Advisory Board and the Mortgage Bankers Association’s National Advisory Council on Affordable Homeownership. Miguel is passionate about sharing his knowledge and frequently lectures at Middle Tennessee State University on topics regarding US Hispanic market trends, mortgage banking, and organizational innovation.
