2024-25 COE-URP Scholars Program Application

Rising MTSU Sophomores and Juniors with a GPA of 3.5 or above for college coursework.

  • Essay (2 page maximum)

In less than two pages, please respond to the following prompt: Livability is a crucial aspect of urban and regional planning. In your own words, describe what you believe makes a city or region livable. What  livability challenges are being faced by cities today? How might these challenges be addressed to create more equitable and sustainable communities?

When applying, please keep in mind that, if accepted, you are expected to attend the required meetings, which are from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on one Friday every month of the program.
